China Huadian’s Laizhou power plant in East China's Shandong province is China's first smart power plant to be entirely designed digitally and is sized for up to 8×1000MW. 2×1000MW-scale USC coal-fired units were commission in the first phase, with 2×35,000 docks. It is Huadian’s first power plant-port integration project equipped with 1000MW-scale units.
