PHNOM PENH, June 28 – On this year’s Father’s Day, electrical engineer Xiao Guoqi, and his daughter Xiao Minjuan,  an HR practitioner, both working at CHD’s Lower Stung Russei Chrum Hydropower Station in Cambodia, celebrated in a special way. Xiao Minjuan recollected, “My father has been working at the station for 9 years, while it’s also my 7^th year as a member of staff here. My father is always on the move to the plant or on his way to patrol duty in the daytime, so we rarely actually have time to work together and meet each other, therefore family gatherings and video chatting with the family members in the evening are always full of joy.” She then said, “ I can not celebrate Father’s Day with him this year due to work and the impact of the pandemic, which I feel sorry about, but I am very proud that we are both contributing our efforts to the development of the power industry in Cambodia within our capacity.”
